Dunoon Folk Club has a warm, loyal audience who come to listen. Every seat faces the stage, there are no distractions, and the room fills with people who genuinely care about the traditional arts. If you’re a folk artist looking for a venue worth playing, this is it.
We book up to a year in advance and plan our programme carefully – mixing local Cowal artists with visiting performers from across Scotland, Ireland, and the UK. Our programme spans Scottish, Irish and English tradition, Americana, bluegrass, song and story. Broadly folk, in the truest sense – if it comes from somewhere real, there’s a place for it here.
