Dunoon Folk Club is a monthly celebration of folk music in all its forms, held every second Sunday at Uig Hall in Benmore, on the beautiful Cowal Peninsula. Founded and run by musicians, we exist to create a space where artists are respected, audiences are welcomed, and the music is always the point.
Each show features three acts – a carefully curated mix of Scottish traditional, Irish folk, Americana, bluegrass, and storytelling. We draw on a rich pool of local Cowal talent alongside visiting performers from across the UK and beyond. The result is an evening that’s intimate, unhurried, and genuinely special.
We’re passionate about keeping folk music accessible. Alongside our standard ticket price, we operate a community ticket scheme with pay-what-you-can pricing – because we believe a good night out shouldn’t depend on your budget. Under 12s are always free.
